Kiosk crash An accident Wednesday, Nov. 23, knocked over the kiosk on the corner of Main and Court streets !n front of the ,~ ~ Runty courthouse in = , Quincy. Lianetta Middlebrooks, 55, of Quincy, was headed eastbound on Main Street at 8:55 a.m. at 25 mph. As she negotiated the left-hand turn, she mistook the curb and sidewalk as part of the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol. She drove her 1998 Isuzu Hombre over the curb and onto the sidewalk. When she realized she was no longer on the roadway, said the CHP, she applied her brakes but failed to stop before she collided with the kiosk on the courthouse lawn. Middlebrooks did not suffer any injuries, but the kiosk sustained major damage.
