Logue represents the Califor-
nia Legislature's 3rd Assembly
District, which includes the
communities of Butte, Lassen,
Nevada, Placer, Plumas,
Sierra and Yuba.
Logue gets
'A' rating
North State Assemblyman
and Republican Whip Dan
Logue announced recently
that the state's largest tax-
payer protection organiza-
tion, the Howard Jarvis
Taxpayers Association, gave
him an "A" rating for his 2011
voting record.
Established' in 1978, after
the successful passage of
Proposition 13, the'Howard
Jarvis Taxpayers Association
is dedicated to the protection
of Proposition 13 and the
advancement of taxpayers'
rights.
"I sincerely appreciate the
important work that the folks
at Howard Jarvis Taxpayers
Association do in working
to protect California's tax-
paying families from out-of-
control big government and
reckless spending," said
Logue. "I know that Califor-
nia's economy and California
families are struggling under
the burden of excessive taxa-
tion and overregulation. I am
humbled and proud to have
earned an 'A' rating in the
fight to defend hard-working
Californians."
"Assemblyman Logue has
been an unwavering champion
for taxpayers. We need more
lawmakers like Dan with the
courage and conviction to
oppose special interests and
stand up for California's
working families," said Jon
Coupal, president of the
Howard Jarvis Taxpayers
Association.
Earlier this year, CalTax,
the state's oldest watchdog
group for tax and public
finance issues, gave Logue a
100 percent rating for his 2011
legislative voting record.
