TWILIGHT LEAGUE

to the Glenn-Patrick baseball!
team, champions of the 20-30
Twilight softball league.
On Sunday, September 9, this
team beat the Pioneer team by a
score of 12 to 6, to emerge un-
disputed winners of the title and
loving cup.
Sponsor Lindsay Glenn, proud of
the boys' high standing during
the entire season, says he plans
to sponsor them again next year
and will equip the whole club with
new jackets, as well as continuing
his practice of a free T-bone steak
for each home run driven in.
Players were Bill Moore, catch-

CHICO AIRPORT
A gigantic air circus will be
presented at Chico municipal air-
port, Sunday. September 30, at
1:30 p.m. under the sponsorship
of Chico American Legion post.
The show "Sky Cavalcade", fea-
turing Chet Derby, internationally
known stunt ace, with his crew of
sensationalists will keep spectators
on the edge of their seats during
a rapid two hour program, the
Legion advises.
All flying will be done at an
altitude of 500 feet and less.
Admission to the show will be
$1.00 per person with children ac-
companied by parents, admitted
