Quincy High School graduates and best friends Kristen Koeller
and Alienor Delannay (a French foreign exchange student),
hold their graduation copy of the Bulletin as they cruise by the
Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Alienor returned home to France
after a 10-month Rotary exchange in Quincy. Kristen traveled
to France with Alienor to spend a few unforgettable weeks
experiencing the true culture of the French, the beautiful
c.ountryside of Burgundy, the French Alps and the city of Paris.

PLUMAS COUNTY DRAFT GENERAL PLAN - DATED AUGUST, 2011
The Draft General Plan is now available to the public via the County's website rat
Www.olumascountv.us under Planning Services. Counter copies are available for viewing
at the Planning and Building Services office, 555 Main Street, Quincy, and at the Chester,
Grebnville, Quincy, and Portola libraries.
Upon request, the Planning Department can provide an email or CD copy. Hardcopies
are limited and areprinted in black and white. To request a copy, please contact
Nancy Fluke, Plumas County Planning Department, at (530) 283-7012 or
pancyfluke@countvofolumas.com.
Comments may be submitted in writing to Randy Wilson, Planning Director, by email at
r, andvwilson@cguntyofolumas,Qm or by mail addressed to Planning and Building Services,
555 Main Street, Quincy, CA 95971 (Attention: Randy Wilson, Planning Director)
Alternatively, verbal participation is welcomed at the upcoming meetings of the Planning
Commission. There will be a regular meeting on September 15, 2011 at 10:00 am and a
special meeting, if needed, on September 22, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Planning and
Building Services Conference Room in Quincy.
Please note that this Draft General Plan will be used for environmental review under the
California Environmental Quality Act. Final adoption of the General Plan, with additional
opportunity for public comment, is anticipated to occur in late spring of 2012.
