Mrs. Grist has notified workers that the dinner will again be a pot-luck affair, with Chester re- presentatives furnishing chicken and biscuits and Westwood and Greenville bringing salad and dessert. The gathering will be enter- tained by a musical film of about 20 minutes length, in which [a- mous stars of the concert world have been especially filmed with sound for this purpose. Miss Hes- ter Grimm, field representative of community concert service, who will be in the area throughout the campaign, will also show this film to local clubs and organizations during the week. The campaign will close the fol- lowing Saturday, after which no more members can be taken. The artist committee will meet im- mediately after the final results have been listed and choose the series of concerts from a list that includes the most celebrated names in the music world. Attendance at the concert is by membership only, it was pointed out by Mrs. /IcDonald. While a canvass will be made throughout the Almanor area. Mrs. Dottle Oliver. asociation secretary, said a campaign headquarters will be kept open at Poyner's store in Chester to accept memberships there. A phone has been installed at the headquarters for the cam- paign week. Greenville's membership chair- man, Mrs. Cecilia M. Chamber- lain, reports that Mrs. Nadine artholf is chairman with Miss Adeline DeFanti. of Taylorsville and Mr. Lyal Wells on her com- mittee. Mrs, Kermit Fisher will assist in Taylorsville.
