Mrs. Mary Wing, Mrs. Della Herring and Mrs. Edna Fisher drove to Vtnton Saturday to at- tend a home economics meeting and also enjoyed a turkey dinner. Mrs. W. T. Grace and sgn Jim are spending a few days vacation- Lug at Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. William Rice of Santa Cruz, Mr. and Mrs. John McGeary of San Francisco and Mr. Kaufman, Eari's father of San Francisco are vacationing at Kauffman's summer home. Mrs. John Sobrero and June Le Roy drove to Westwood Sunday to get Mrs. Angelina Cozzaglio who will visit her brother John Sobrero and family. Mr. and Mrs. Rdy Holmstrom came up from Sacramento to spend the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. "1'uffy" McCuthcheon. The Holstroms formerly owned a store here. DannyKidder small son of Mr. and Mrs. George Kidder had to have two stitches taken on his chin when he fell out of his mothers car on Main Street last Week. Frank Pratt drove to Rend one day last week. Mr..and Mrs. George Lambert came over from Greenville Sat- urday friends.tO spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. Aide Sorsoli, Mr. and Mrs. Krug Mr. and Mrs. Vin- ton Peace, Mr. Bruce McIntyre, Miss June Le Roy, Miss Barbara Johnson, Wesley Neer, Le Roy buckner and Mr. Smith went to Gridley Sunday to attend the night Rodeo. Mr. and Mrs. John Hardgrave and Mrs. Edna Fisher drove to Susanv/lle Friday to take in the Lassen County Fair, Bob Cooke of Reno spent the weekend here with his mother. Mrs. Timey Cooke entertained the Ladies Ad Wednesday. Mrs. Maude Taylor will have the next meeting Wednesday, September 11 at her home. Marvin Boney who is working in Oroville visited friends here Sun- day. o Misses Barbara McCutcheon, La Yerne Gates, June Le Roy and Kathy Barrett went to Susan- viile Wednesday. Kathy and June returned home the same day, with Sammy Brown, but La Verne and Barbara remained until Fri- day with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ban- nister. Mrs. Arlene Taresh, and Donnie, Darrell, Penny and Pamela Taresh of Clapay and Miss Nadine Taresh. of Quincy visited Mr. and Mrs. Neal Clarke alad children and other relatives in the valley Sun- day. Lt. and Mrs. Frank Libby (nee June McEnespy) of Sacramento, stopped for a visit in Greenville last week, the guests of Mr and Mrs. Frank Kampschmidt. The young couple were enroute home from a honeymoon trip. A surprise birthday party was given Mrs. B. B.
