Gridiron Alumni is facili- tating a full contact alumni football game between Quin- cy and Portola High School alumni this October. This alumni game will be held Oct. 15 to coincide with Portola High School's home- coming game Oct. 14, as well as the school's alumni golf tournament the morning of the 15th. Players are needed to sign up, and the first 40 players on each team get to play. If you or someone you know is interested in putting on the pads one more time, please go to gridironalumni.com to register. There will be an informa- tional meeting at the Quincy High School football field at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, and at Portola High School football field at 6:30 p.m. Sat- urday, Aug. 13. Players are encouraged to sign up before the meeting. Players from other areas are welcome to come to the meeting, as well.
