Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Leifer
of Sacramento visited her mother
and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Gruever over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Gordon re-
turned to their home in Lindsay
Monday evening. Mr. Gordon flew
to Reno to meet Mrs. Gordon
who spent several days there be-
fore returning here.
Mrs. Phil Klely and two sons
o San Francisco brought Mrs.
Cynthia Boles of Oakland up last
Tuesday to visit Vtna Flckhardt.
Mrs. Boles was seriously ill and
had wanted to spent her last days
with /Vfrs. Fickhardt. She passed
away early Saturday morning in
Raison hospital. Funeral servces
were held Monday in Marysville.
Mrs. Boles was born in New Sa-
len, Mass., and was 86 years old.
She is survived[ by her son, Fred
Fickhardt of San Francisco, three
grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.
Andy Stevenson and Mrs. Ward
both of Portola Police Dept. stop-
ped by to visit Mr. Stevenson's
brothers, Bill and Roy Baker Mon-
day enroute home from a business
trip to Susanville.
Mary Sims went over to Reno
Wednesday to meet her sister who
was vacationing from Vicksburg,
Miss. She returned home early
friday morning.
A few friends came in Wednes-
day evening to help Betty Jo Gar-
rick celebrate her birthday.
Mrs. Reggie Bacher and child-
ren moved Sunday to the bay area
where Mr. Bacher will ]me sta-
tioned.
Carl Bye and Gust Johnson
came down to spend a few days
from their mine.
Loren Kingdon went over to
Reno on business and down to
Chico Wednesday on business.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tatro of
Red Bluff and Mr. and Mrs. Clan-
ton Lindstrom of Chico were
weekend guests of Mr, and Mrs.
Paul Tatro and family.
Sam Ktngdon accompanied by
Sherly Sorsoff went to Oakland
Saturda night and returned early
Monday morning. Sam took Jerry

A family reunion dinner was
held at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Ray Robinson of Greenville Sun-
day. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Du
vall and two children of Sacra-
mento, Mr. add Mrs. Jack e?lumtJ-
er and three children of Sacra-
mento, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Stock-
ton of Greenville. Mr. and Mrs.
Elmer Lewis, Elmer Lewis Jr', and
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Robinson and
son made up the entire Lewis
family. It was the first time in
14 years that the whole fum:Ay
