J. Gallup, Plumas County Veterans' Service Officer, has re- ceived word from the Veterans Administration hospital at RenD, Nevada, requesting blood donors to replace blod used by veterans at that facility. Records in Gallup's office show that over fifty veterans from Plumas County have received medical attention and hospitaliza- tion at that facility during this year. Any person desiring to do- nate blood may do so any day of the week from Monday through Friday between 8 :'30 a.m. and 4:30 p•m., at the hospital at 1000 Lo- cust Street in RenD. If six or more donors intend to go, arrangements can be made through his office for appointmnet on any Saturday morning• At the present time, Gallup stat- ed, one veteran from Quincy has received four transfusions since July 20, and several more will be needed before his complete re- covery. This veteran, Claude A. Langley, works for Dupont and Buus, here in Quincy, and is re- covering from a major operation.
