rider will add color to five of the
shows ncheduled at the Plumas
County Fair. Aug. 9-12.
Lynn. the daughter of Dr. and
Mrs. ¥. 7,.errithew of Quincy,
has ridden most of her twelve
years, devoting the last more ex-
clusively to trick riding.
Azile Lynn and her capable
horse "Cherokee' have participat-
ed m many parades and have
performed in the Los Angeles Col
iseum.
She appeared on the 2hazne
Walker TV show in Los Angeles
recently.
She will be featured on open-
ing night during the horse show
anf will also go into action dur-
inq the children's program Friday
afternoon, the annual parade Sat-
urday mornmg in Quincy, and
the rodeo Saturday and Sunday
afternoons.
Lynn ind her horse have been
tr2ning at the Flying Horse
Ranch in the Los Angeles area
:e.r :-:_-.ny years• At present she is
tr:!ning a high school horse to
assist in Roman riding in her per-
formances. She does some Roman
riding now. reports her manager-
father, but is lacking a second
training horse.
Lynn anticipates a trick riding
career, and cavorts under the pro-
fessional name of Lynn Merri.

that Mr. and Mrs. Earl Waits
Went to the bay area Monday to
meet Burl, who has returned
home from action in Korea, dur-
ing which hc was wounded some
weeks ago.
:Mrs. H. S. Hawkins of San
Leandro was a visitor for several
days last week with her daughter,
Mrs. Nadine Barthalf of Green-
vllle.
Paul Powell and Frank Rusk
spent the past weekend in Oak-
land, visiting at the home of Paul's
grandmother, Mrs. Laura John-
son.
The Stan Naglers. Dint Dolphins
and Walter Cliffs were all pic-
nickers at Taylor Lake Sunday,
and report that the atomsphere
there is nice and cool. They also
advise that visitors to the area
go there equipped with jeeps.
RMarge, (;wen, Judy and Tommy
n recently spent a week visit-
ing relatives in Los Angeles. They
returned home accompanied by
the formers' mother. Mrs. MarE
aret Cappell, leaving Judy at
Bakersfield to visit relatives there.
,Elsie Caraway and daughters
Ann and Sue visited with her hus-
band, Jake. and her uncle in the
bay area for several days, return-
ing home last Wednesday.
Mrs. Harry West of Oakland is
among summer visitors in Green-
villa, spending some time with her
daughter, Barbara Goldenson and
family.

Pearce of Taylorsville on Satur-
day last. July 28. Mother and son
are doing nicely at the W. C. Bat-
son hospital.

on July 7th. twin boys, Noel Rich-
ard. 4 lbs. 10 ozs. and Neff Eugene,
5 lbs. 10 ozs., at Los Vegas, Nay.
The father is the nephew of Mrs.
Margaret Morris of Greenville.
