JUNIOR GOLF CAMP July 5, 6, 7 Ages 9-16 or call 530-816-0713 GOLF RESULTS Graeagle Meadows Women's Golf Club This week on a beautiful summer day the Graeagle Meadows Women's Golf Club played a game of Ts and Fs. Members counted only scores on holes that begin with Ts or Fs as, for example, first, third, fourth, etc. Finally, they subtracted one-half of their handicap to determine their score. The winner in the first flight was Priscilla Piper. Ann Pratt came in sec- ,ond. There was a tie between Carol Miller and Bey Reynolds for third place. In the second flight Carla Gibson took first place with Ellen Fearing taking second and Dee Walker coming in third. Gall Arterburn came in first in the third flight. There was a tie for second between Maureen Ford and Annie Fisher. Carol Miller, Cathy Churchill, Ann Pratt, Linda BilKer and Gall Arterburn all had chip-ins. LACC Women's Golf Club Tuesday morning, June 21, marked the beginning of summer as the LACC ladies headed out on the golf course to play the game of Low Gross & Putts. In the first flight, Mary Craig came in first with a score of 88, Made- line Furman was second with 93 and Sue Hudson placed third with 99. in the second flight, Sandy Feeney came in first with a score of 98, Marsha Spooner was second with 99 and Lee Hunter was third with 101. In the third flight, Claudine Gurney came m first with a score of 107. Madeleine Prots- man was second.with 112, Fran Smith came in third with 118 and Doris Kaiser placed fourth with a score of 119. Sandy Feeney won the putting contest with only 30 Putts. Sue Hudson had a chip- in on hole No. 11. Jan Still- well landed a chip-in on hole No. 3 during match play. And, not to be out-done by Jan, Cathy Rideout had a chip-in on hole No. 11 during match play. Jane Hilliard scored a birdie on hole No. 17 while. playing match play. Well done, ladies! Congratulations to all our winners. Wednesday Morning Scramble at Mt. Huff Not much of a breeze and it was hot out, but that didn't stop the golfers at the June 22 Wednesday Morning Scramble at Mr. Huff Golf Course. First place honors went to team members Mike Ingle, Darel Joseph and Bob Clark. Second place went to the team of Don McConnell, Ted Trafton and Gary Hughes. The chip-in contest was won by Mike Ingle while Leo Sorosinski took the prize for closest to the pin. Mt. Huff Thursday Night Scramble Eight teams of gentlemen and ladies came together for a fun-filled Scramble. A little breeze kept the heat down and it made for a wonderful. evening. After a chip-off between Bill McRoberts and Jeff Stevens, the Jeff Stevens team with Ron Ridge, Margie Joseph and Jim Bryant came in first, while Bill McRoberts, Gary Hughes, Mike Taddei and Darel Joseph came in sec- ond and David Smuts, Greg Stevens, Ted Trafton and Mary Trafton came in third.
