Property in the county was assessed at $38,492,- 075 for 1950-51. Last yeax's property tax levy of $1,352,191 meant an average tax rate of $4,03 per $100 of tax- able valuation in the county. Tax- able property amounted to $33,-' 519.255 for the year.
