Mrs. Janie Hogan, Supervising district president, wa: honored for her work in the past years, and presented with a lovely lamp, She is a charter member ,of the par- lor. and was responsible for choos- inz the name which it bears. Tribute was paid to the other charter members present, who helped to organize Plumas Pioneer parlor 30 years ago. Four members were also presented with gifts and their 25-year pins in recognition of their many years of loyal ser- vice. Those so honored were: Mrs. Mary Schieser Mrs. Josephine t Hunt, Mrs. Marguerite Hamblin all of Greenville; and Mrs. Fran- ces Card of Quincy. During the evenin the beauti- ful and impressive initiation cere- mony was exemplified at which time Mrs. Elsie Caraway of Green- ville became a member of Plumas Pioneer parlor.
