After being buried in snow a week before, the playing fields at
Feather River College were ready just in time for last Sunday's
doubleheaders. The seftball games, originally scheduled for
Saturday, were moved to Sunday and overlapped with the
baseball games, making for a full day at the ballpark with lots
of spectators enjoying sunny weather. The FRC baseball team
defeated Siskiyous 14-4 and 10-0, while the softball team split
with Shasta 0-1 and 9-6. The April 3 games fell on FRC baseball
coach Terry Baumgartner's 41st birthday. Photos by Shannon

Cody Anderson earned the win in game one, striking out 10 batters to bring his record to 4-0 this season. A week earlier,
Anderson spent hours clearing the field with a snow blower.
Lefthander Victor Mendoza shows good technique at the plate. Mendoza finished the double-
header with five hits and four RBIs.
