Nemeyer of Pasadena arrived on Monday XF for a visit with friends in Indian Valley, including Ivy Mar Heald and the Pete Viacava family. Carl Scholberg, fire control of- ricer for the Greenville Forest Rnger Station returned early this week from San Francisco where he was sent on a special detail to the regional office. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Savercool and family moved into their new home on Buch Street this past week. Thomas Crotty is back after several weeks in the hospital-- still has his leg m a walking cast ana his ribs taped up, butdoes look slim and trim. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Myers, ae- compained by their three sons and Donald Comstock, went to Sacra- mento Sunday to attend the Sac- ramento-Portland baseball game. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Evans and daughter returned to Greenville Sunday to make their home after having lived in New York since their marriage. The Harry Larisons entertained her sister, Mrs. Cal Kennedy of Sacramento and Mr. Louis Bres- laur of San Francisco last week end. The Record office has been spasmodically closed during busi- ness hours ever since last Thurs- day due to Norman Johnson's l'av- ing been home in bed trying to recover from something• Opera- tion of the office has been divided between the efforts of Thelma Johnson. PUBLIC INVITED TO TAKE SCENIC TOUR TO BIEBER APRIL 29 Plumas Cunty citizens are invited to join with the Ameri- can Legion on Sunday, April 29th, when a ch'rtered train will be provided by Western Pacific for an all.day trip to Bieber and return, it was announced this week by Commander Dale Han- nah of Indian Valley Post 568. The train will start from Ked- die at 6 a.m., passing through Greenville at 6=30 and West- wood at 7:15. Enetrtainment will be povided on the scenic tour, and lunch will be available at Bieber.
