Mrs. Lyda Sheehan and children returned Saturday after spendnig the week visiting in Berkeley. Mrs. Albert Reihl drove Mrs. Hook and daughters as far as Marysville Monday morning where Mr. Hook met his family and drove them on to their home in Albany. Pat Sheehan celebrated his fifth birthday Easter Sunda:. A few dropped in to wish him a happy birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baker and Poy Baker drove over to Portola Sunday and enjoyed dinner with the Andy Stevenson family. Mr. and :Mrs. Pete Hanson of Greenville visited Mr. and Mrs. Plumie Nye Sunday afternoon. Mr. arid Mrs. Elmer Lewis and Elmer Jr., has as Easter guests, Mr. and Mrs. Hoeffler of San Francisco who are spending sev- eral weeks in Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Sorsoli and another couple of Susanville came over to take their daughhter, Diana home after she spent her vacation visiting her grandmother, Corene Sorsoli. Tom Haskins came up from Grass Valley Wednesday on bum- hess. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Taresh of Chico called at the home of their daughter Mrs. Neal Clark and family Thursday. Mark Herring has been quite ill with. an infected ear. Mrs. Lets Coffin and son Rich- ard returned to the Cliff Ranch Friday after spending a week in Oakland with their husband and father Harry Coffin. Ladies Aid will meet Wednes- day with gnes-Dolphin. Philip McCutcheon of the bay area spent his Easter vacation here with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Wes Quigiey. George Clark was taken to the Batson hospital after taking quite ill on Thursday at last report he was improving.
