BURT Oliver Milton Burt, employee of the Southern Pacific at Gerber for 31 years, died in a San Francisco hospital January 23. Death was the result of injuries received when he fell on a flight of stairs at his Gerber home Jan. 5. He spent several days in the hos- pital here, and five days ago, when his condition became critical, was taken to the Southern Pacific hos- pital in San Francisco. Burt was born August 16, 1886 in Kansas and has been employea in various railroads since 1902. ]n recent years he was a switchman at the Gerber yards. He was a member of the Red Bluff Aerie of Eagles and of the Brotherhood of Railroad Train- men, Burr is survived by his wife Jau- ] nita of Gerber, two sons, Harold, [ of Sacramento, and Milton Hurt, [ and a daughter, Mrs, Harry C.
