It was the first adversity the Greenville football team had to face, but this year's team had no problem facing and overcoming adversity. We won three games in a row by two points each. The first of those games was against Westwood in double overtime where we had to stop a two point conversion or loe and convert a 4th and 22 for a touchdown or lose. The very next week the team was down 28-22 when we drove the length of the field with less than 3 minutes to go tie the game and made the two point conversion for the lead. With less than two minutes left the defense sealed the victory by causing a fumble and getting the recovery. The Greenville Football team played tough and fought hard all season long. The team reached its goal of making the play- offs, but unfortunately lost to Dunsmuir. The student athletes should be commended for their dedication and commitment to making Greenville football something the entire community can be proud of. I would also like to thank and acknowledge coach Dave Keller for his time, effort, and service to the football team, along with all the parents, staff, and community members who sup- ported the team throughout the season. - Coach Justin Allan Elementary School Ryan Miller's Fourth and Fifth Grade Class Mr. Miller's students are very energetic, well-behaved and ready to tell one what they are learning in school. Variables have been introduced in math studies, which prepares them for algebra. They haven't tried any fun science experiments yet, but they are reading their science book in class. They are also reading a book titled "The White Giraffe," about an 11-year-old girl who goes to live with her grandmother and meets the mythical, legendary silver animal that is not really supposed to exist. For history, they are studying the U.S. Constitution. 1 i t
