On Sunday the party made a trip to Mr. Lassen Park for the benefit of the visitors, and report that the weather is more than comfortably cool up there. Wes Scidmore. who has been serving as business agent for the Carpenters' Union. and Edna. who is one <)f the "hello girls," left this  week for a several weeks vacation. On their return home he will be associated with Crescent Cleaners. Miss Lorna Boyd of Oroville and Harold Cordoza visited in the Cor- doza home over the 4th. Mr. and Mrs. Donahue and Jo- anne of Castro Valley, sister of Bob and Jim Milton visited in the Cordoza-Milton homes over last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hook return- ed to their, home in Albany on Sun- day.
