Shannon Morrow Sports Editor sports@plumasnews.com The Quincy High School trk team took ]6urth place out of 19 schools at the Burt Williams Invitational at Central Valley High School in Shasta Lake Saturday, March 24. Ethan Skemp won first place for Quincy in high jump with a height of 5 feet, 8 inches. Teammate Josh Hanna won first place in the 800-me- ter run with a time of two minutes, 11.33 seconds. In the 400-meter run, Skemp placed first with a time of 53.49 seconds, and Hanna placed third with a time of 55.33 seconds: Hanna captured third place in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:58.3, and he claimed sixth in the 3,200- meter run with a time of 11:38.16: Skemp earned a fourth place in the 200-meter run with a time of 24.63 seconds.
